libgeda-common software package provides GPL EDA -- Electronics design software (data files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeda-common
libgeda-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeda-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeda-common *
You will get with libgeda-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
